Agility Bookkeeping has been great. They help us sort out all our bookkeeping and payroll duties. We started working with them at a time when we were growing rapidly. Their team stepped in and helped us level up the management of our in-house capabilities, giving us more time to concentrate on growing our brand. Thanks to them, our business is in safe hands.
When we first called Agility Bookkeeping we were struggling with crippling factoring fees and a sales ledger which was out of control. Roden Associates quickly assessed the problems, resolved our issues resulting in reduced fees and significantly improved debtor days. They also moved our accounts to Xero – saving us time and making life easier with online access to our data.
Excellent service, advice and guidance on all bookkeeping matters. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
No, that depends on the type of business. Even though every company must prepare their complete accounts for HMRC and/or Companies House, the “year-end” refers to the day its financial period ends. For example, if you’re a sole trader, we recommend setting your year-end on April 5 to match the end of the tax year. But if you’re a limited company, then the Companies House will set your year-end as a year after the end of the month you created the company. For queries, please contact us.
At year’s end, a bookkeeper ensures financial accuracy by reconciling bank accounts, tracking expenses, preparing financial statements, reviewing inventory, adjusting entries, and aiding in tax documentation. They streamline the transition into the new financial year, optimise tax deductions, and clarify a business’ financial health, facilitating smoother tax filing and informed business decisions.
